The Queen Palm is a commonly planted ornamental along streets,grown for its pretty,archetypical palm tree look. Its orange fruits can also be eaten.
Medium sized to tall palm tree usually to 25-50ft. It is mildly hardy,surviving temperatures to 25F. The queen palm needs fairly regular watering in hot or dry climates. Native to Brazil.
